ORDER DESK
An online store with checkout and order management

A homeware store with a storefront, quantity selection, cart and checkout. A manager view keeps each order’s items, delivery and status together.
Original concept. This interface illustrates a possible product.Customers ask about availability and delivery in messages while a manager assembles orders by hand. Products, quantities and delivery details can become inconsistent.
The storefront and cart use shared product data. Customers check items and delivery costs at checkout; managers receive a structured order to process.
- Product details and availability
- Cart with quantity changes
- Delivery options and order total
- Order statuses for managers
Cart and order contents
Changing quantities immediately updates the total. Products, prices and quantities stay together so customers do not have to repeat their selection in a message.
Delivery and processing
The delivery option updates the total before confirmation. In a proposed working product, managers check stock and move orders through agreed statuses. Payment, inventory and delivery integrations are defined separately.
Local demonstration
Change the cart, choose a delivery option and create a demonstration order. All data is synthetic, with no payment or external operations.

An original concept with fictional products. The demonstration calculates a cart and creates an order only in the browser. It does not charge money, reserve stock or send data to a store.
