KNOWLEDGE DESK
Answer search across internal company documents

An internal-knowledge assistant with cited documents and a human handoff for uncovered questions.
Original concept. This interface illustrates a possible product.Staff search scattered instructions. A generated answer can sound confident even when the company’s documents contain no such rule.
The assistant retrieves authorised passages and links its response to them. Insufficient evidence produces a clear “not found” state and an optional handoff.
- Authorised instruction uploads
- Relevant-passage retrieval
- Document-linked answers
- No-guess fallback and human handoff
Documents and supporting passages
An answer includes the document name and supporting passage. Users can inspect context. A full implementation must enforce document permissions during retrieval.
Uncovered-question handling
Five fixed demo instructions support a small set of questions. Uncovered questions show an explicit absence of evidence. The handoff is simulated locally and sends nothing to an operator.

Local keyword search, without AI requests. It illustrates the principle: an answer needs an available source.
